If you would like to start in South America, Asia, or Africa, please start a new game with Tutorial disabled.

Not only will EU introduce you to the game mechanics, the characters in XCOM 2 refer to the previous storyline, so it's best to be familiar with it. The ability to manual saves and the ability to create multiple saves have been disabled by design in this challenge mode. It's best to play Enemy Unknown (EU) before attempting XCOM 2.
